Since Ive bought my car it has always made an annoying squeak from the drivers rear side. I thought it was the brakes but after replacing them this weekend it definetly wasent the case. When I press the brakes about half way down it squeeks like crazy but when I put the brake all the way (not slammed) the sound goes away. Also it seems like when I turn it squeeks aswell. Anyways I REALLY want to get this sound to go away. I am turning heads for the wrong reasons when I cruise down the road :(

It could be the bushings in one of the rear suspension components. You could try having someone push down on the car while you listen for noises to pinpoint it.

The car was involved in a minor accident before I bought it, is there any chance that the rotor could be slightly bent? When I put the brakes on lightly it grinds and when I slam on them no noise at all, thats why im wondering. This sound is the most agonizing thing ever.

Bump.... The car is out of alignment and pulls to the right a little. When I turn the wheel right the sound stops for a second.......
