Collector size and super chargers

Is there a benefit of running a larger collector size for headers when running a f/i setup?? For example would it be beneficial to get 3 1/2'' collectors over 3'' collectors. I would imagine so since the more air going into a motor, the more air coming out of it. Anyone have any experience or inut about running larger collectors?? Thanks.

With a full exhaust, not really.

mark is right..any off the shelf header with 3 inch collectors will be just fine...he should know, i believe he works for ATI
