is this a decent price?

2002 us cargo 26' phantom limited with racer package. enclosed trailer with 5,500 lbs. tandem axle fully finished inside and out with all the same specs as every other trailer.

6,500 encluding the reese bar/hitch setup and brake controller i would need to put on the truck to pull.



supposedly bought new in march, used only a couple of times and in excellent condition. paid little over 8,000 new for it.

is this a fair price or should it go for less? anyone know about this brand?

I would NEVER use a hitch that is not installed brand new on my vehicle, but the price seems a little high.

If they heated it to remove the bolts then the temper of the metal could be at question. and i would hate to see you posting about losing the trailer at 60MPH on 696, new hitches are cheap.

My Dad just bought a 26' Enclosed for $5000 last year. It is just a plain enclosed he bought for storage. They told us it would have to be upgraded to haul a car, and has no interior mods except for a light.
