I have a SS hood on my 91z28 and would like to color the scoop black? Is there a decal already cut out that a company sells that sticks right over the paint? Id like to see how it looks before I paint it. If it dont look good then I can peel the decal off

masking tape...then paint it...hehe....

way cheaper than spending 150+ just for the decal...

 

No Dave I'm never done with this car. Im looking for something that canbe removed at a later date if I choose to do so. I cant go an remove paint but I sure can remove a decal.

 

try checking w/ brent franker, he can make just about anything you want in a vinyl decal.

Do what I did to my wheels(ah, your wheels) cover up with blk electical tape , take a pic from a distance. At least you can pull it off right away & have a pic to see if you like it. If you do have it painted or have a sign shop cut one up for you.

ya, I think Im just gonna get it painted black when the hood gets painted. it cant look that bad. Plus I still gotta get my headlight buckets painted black as well so that should also help break up the car. Now I just gotta go shopping for new wheels
