This rattle happens when the car is driving with foot on the gas and off the gas. It only goes away when the brake is pressed. I think it is comming from the passenger side front.

Any Ideas what it could be? It seems to be getting worse.

Thanks, Jason

Noises can be hard to find. Is it constant or only when going over imperfections in the road? You'll have to get under the car with a rubber malet and hit everything in sight trying to duplicate it. From your description I'd look real close at the RF caliper/bolts/etc.

The only way you are going to know is by getting under there and inspecting the everything, motor, suspension, chassis, and brakes. It may turn out to be an easy fix, maybe a piece of road debris got caught in there somewhere.

since it goes away when you press the brake, check to see if the caliper/slide pins are tight

Here's a longshot - I had that for about 6 months when I bought my car (used) before I finally got around to really checking on it. Turns out that one bolt was missing from a front caliper. I can't imagine it worked its way out to the point that it completely vacated the scene - (guess it was the last guy that did a brake job), but it's worth verifying I guess!

my camaro did the same thing, with a rattle coming from the front passenger side it seemed like, and when i would brake it would go away a little. My rattle happened to be my catalytic converter, something was loose on it. If it is the cat fix it ASAP! i took mine out and put straight piping in the meantime while i get a new one.
