What adhesive to use for badges?

I removed the Z28 badges on my car a few years ago, and now I want to put them back on. What would be a good adhesive to use?

Try some Shoe Goo.

I'd use some tough double sided thin foam adhesive, which is what's used on many badges. This is an easy way to do it depending on the style of badge you have. Others you obviously couldn't use this as easily if it would require significant cutting and trimming. You should be able to easily find some at a hardware store, like Home Depot and maybe even the local car parts chains. 3M makes great adhesives. If the thin double sided kind won't work, you might look for a proper glue or a spray as a last resort. I'd mainly "stick' with the foam or a glue though. ;)

3M makes a liquid emblem adhesive... comes in a little tube, and it's about $3.
I've heard it works great.

I would avoid the liquid glue, it will more than likely squirt out and be visible, and I think the 3M glues is yellow so that will look really tacky.

I would use the 3M double sided black colored auto trim mounting tape, just lay the emblem on a piece of tape after exposing one side and use a sharp razor blade to trim off the edges. This is how I put my Chevy cross flags on my Impala.

I forgot to mention, regardless of what you end up using for your badges, make sure you thoroughly clean the area, preferably with alcohol to remove any films, wax buildup, etc, that would prevent the badge from sticking properly.

I used 3M liquid Glue and the stuff hold GOOD. The problem is on the doors of the earlier 4th gen T/A's they didn't come with badges. Reason being (as I found out) that the molding of the doors is slightly "twisted" not allowing a flat surface to apply the emblems to. On the left side it holds good, on the right, it SUCKS.
