i have lt1 edit and cannot get it to comunicate with my computer and i have been emailing the people at lt1 edit and we can seem to figure out what is going on. it seems like my laptop is talking to my pcm the pcm just isnt talking to my laptop.
so my question is.. is there a way to see if my port is working properly?
find some one w/ a scannero or go to auto zone and see if a differant device will communicate. chances r the obd port is bad.

I'm sure they already told you to make sure you're getting power to the DLC (cig/accy fuse). Only other thing I can think of is probe the connector to make sure you have power and grounds are good, or pull a fuse for something non-essential to set the MIL, then use another scanner and see if it'll read the code. Pinouts are at www.obdii.com/connector.html Just an idea...
