1. I have a 1980 & 1981 Z-28. The 80's interior is Carmine which is a darker red. The 81's interior is called red which is a brighter red. I am looking to paint/dye the interior parts using SEM firehorn red. Has anyone used this brand & color? Did it work well? What color does firehorn red match?
2. I just recently purchased the 81 & don't know if all the interior parts are original, but even with these differences, I believe they are. In my 81 the dash & console are the color of my 80, carmine, but the rest of the interior is the brighter red. Does anyone have these differences in their car?
3.The console also does not have the storage space under the dash. It is solid. I have never seen a console like this. Did these come factory?
