Question Who Makes Aluminum Flywheels For LT1's

Been searching for an aluminum flywheel for a stock shortblock LT1, (i.e., external balance), and have only found them being made by Ram and Fidanza. Any other manufacturers make aluminum flywheels for LT1's? TIA for all replies.

I thought SLP only made the lightweight billet steele version for LT1's.

Thumbs up

Okay....a few "follow up" questions. Do the McLeod and Spec aluminum flywheels require the use of one of their clutches, or will it accomodate a stock aftermarket LT1 or LT4 clutch?

Also, OBE1 you sure SLP makes an aluminum wheel? You got an SLP part number for it? I can't find it on their web site? I think Kevin's right on this, but if you have an aluminum SLP P/N, let me know, and.....thanks to all who replied!

My bad, I forgot it was a lightened steel piece. I ran it for about 20K miles, it was a nice piece. Replaced it with the McLeod Twin Street setup with the aluminum flywheel.

Question

Anyone know where to get a good "deal" on a Ram Model No. 2554 aluminum flywheel? Best prices I'm seeing on this are in the $350 +/- range. Anyone know where to get this any cheaper? TIA for all replies.
