Well the insurance claimed it to be totaled out. So I bought it back from the insurance company and after a few months I decided to rebuild it. It goes tomorrow for a windshield. Then paint in a month or so. But here it is as of now. I had to replace the Bumper cover, RH mirror, Headlights, RH Fender, Some underneath plastics, Corner lenses, Windshield is pending. A couple more things It still needs like a fog light, muffler, and couple more underbody pieces.

It looks like is coming along nicely. I'm curious, how much did it cost to buy it back from the insurance company? Hopefully I will never be in such a position, but if I am, I'm kind of curiuos how much people usually pay.

Well they instantly throw the car on an auction type site. (specifically licensed automotive companies, body shops, salvage yards, etc. obviously only have access to this) It goes for about 5 minutes. And bam I won it back for 400.00 bucks.
