How bad is stock fuel system...

I know this sounds crazy but basically I have a forged 355 with 227/233 cam LE heads (not sure which series, he milled them by what I told him I had). I know my car is suffering bad with all stock fuel components and MAC mid-lengths. My plans were to go carbed so that's one reason I haven't changed anything but I am considering staying FI (lets not get into that old run-down debate on which is better). Also if ya'll want go ahead and drop me some suggestions on the fuel injectors and what not. Thanks for any help!

A Racetronix single in-tank 255 kit for the LT1's along with 42lb SVO injectors should be good on that setup with room to breathe. Stock fuel lines should be fine also.

I'd go with the same pump but would go smaller on the injectors with 36lb units

The best way to really know if your fuel system isn't keeping up is a good dyno tune, or at least to hook-up a fuel pressure gauge and see what your fuel pressure is doing at WOT.
