I am looking into installing a fmic. Been doing alot of research and have noticed that most people are using the ic with the inlet / outlet located on the bottom. I have heard that it is better to use an ic with the inlet / outlet at opposite corners. Is this possible on our cars?

+2. Bob knows his stuff, and also is the best at pricing for custom FMIC's for our cars.

I'm sure its possible to use an intercooler with in/out at opposite corners but it would require alot of custom fab work. I can't see any benefit to using one of these. The fmic that alot of the guys use on here 31x12x4 is relatively simple to install and run the piping for.:)

I have been looking at the 31x12x4 i/c's on ebay. It's hard to believe you can buy that i/c for around $200. I remember not so long ago when i/c's were very pricy. Gotta love ebay!
