A hole really ticked me off….

My 03 ram 2500 Cummins 6 speed is my daily driver…so Wednesday these a holes in a honda and this other a hole in a ford POS get after it at the light in front of me.. I developed this itch under my right foot that I just had to scratch.. SO shifting this Cummins is kinda like rowing a boat…red line on a Cummins is rev limited at 3200.. peak torque (610) or so is around 2000 rpms, so I shift at 2500.. so your not in any gear for very long. So I start in 2nd, then 4th then 6th (od) ..i can’t get all the way into it as they are in the dam way… the Honda starts pulling a little and I’m dead on his ***, then he walks F*****G nitrous…the Cummins speed limits at 120…bastards…..at least I killed the ford..

So yesterday I was up town running around in the c-10. (77 short step, 454, turbo 400, 2.73 12 bolt posi) and here is that little Honda again….

So follow the guy awhile until finally we get the right light. I rap out the exhaust a few times and antagonize the hell outta the little a hole…the light changes an I introduced him to the 454…with 30 inch tires and the 2.73 gears, I can hit 60 in first no problem and still bark the tires when shifting to 2nd…

I eased into it ( you can’t nail it there is too much torque) then hammered it.
he jumped out a little in front, but while he was shifting, I was just getting good into first ( 60 mph) and blaste past him
I hit second and he starts coming up on me with the nitrous and makes it to almost the back bumper then the 454 starts pulling, I shift to 3rd at around 100 and ran it up to 130, he couldn't hang and peels off on side street
I realy really need the Camaro back on the road,

Uh, good kill, I guess, but I don't get why you keep calling these guys a holes, since nowhere in your post does it indicate that they did anything like cut you off, call you names, etc.

I disagree... I've read the same things said about Fbodie, Vette, Porche drivers, etc.

Rat454 either left out a large part of the story, or he has a huge chip on his shoulder. I rate drivers by the driver, not by what car they drive.

I also agree with Nuke.
I dont see where the A hole comes into play. Heck, they were just doin what we all here love to do. Maybe their foot was itching too?

Just my observation, but good kill in the end to the thread starter.
