who has details on whats involved in entering your car there? Ive heard you have to be "approved" to show a car there, cant just show up, pay and get in like most car shows.

oh yeah, dads car is an 02 mecham TA. Im working on istalling ported heads/custom cam/and alot of other bolt ons. but gotta get it tuned after its running again also.

You have to go their website www.autorama.com and copy a entry form fill it out, send it along with a $50.00 entry fee. They also want pics of the car you are entering. Just general pics of the outside of the car, front and back. Carpet and stanchions are required also. You must have your app in by Feb 9th. If you do not get accepted I`m not sure what they do with your $50.00 entry fee?

autorama is a good time, i had my car there in 05 and 06. It makes for a long weekend but is def. worth it. i just hated cleaning the car every 10 minutes until the judges showed up, it is really dusty in there especially when the people mover go by

thinking about it... not 4thgen but it would be in the same class as the rest of you. she's been off the road and out of shows since late 04 so it should be a fun year!

can't wait to go to Autorama and see some fbodies at the show. I give you guys credit for doing Autorama, I've heard some stories of all the work that goes into detailing before the show. Keep up the great work guys, and I look forward to seeing your cars there!

He always waits until the last minute lol.. I can guarantee he'll be up for 48 hours straight detailing it and getting the finishing touches done.

I still haven't cut the Speedglass to shape for the windsheld or assembled the hatch glass piece, I can't find the damn distributor hold down, I have no exhaust system on the car and I have to do some floor clearancing to make that fit (lots if cutting and welding), still haven't finished the wiring, gauge cluster needs to be reassembled and wired, center counsel needs switched installed and wired, nitrous plumbing needs to be done, need new carpet badly, all interior trim needs to be reinstalled and trimmed to fit around the cage (some needs to be replaced), rear brakes need to be installed, a few brake lines need to be re-run, brake system needs to be filled and bled, somehow I need to get the new headliner in, need to get safty harnesses, anf the entire car needs to be paint. It's all scratched up, has a couple dents now, the hood is still white, and I still gotta get the new front fascia/ground effects on (which are grey/white too).
