So who on the board is a constable in Delta?

I owe him a Christmas bevereage (ironically).

Anyone know which of our "members" represents the thin blue line in Delta? During a counter attack road check he generously looked the other way with respect to the fact I don't have a front plate (or holder) on the V.

:)

He knows me but I didn't recognize him.

Thanks

That would be Phil. He's a good guy.

What's new with you Shaun? I'm a close neighbour now:) We should have a beer sometime and catch up.

Hey Mike

You know, I really do miss the chatter we all use to have on the boards. Need to get some new guys registering.

So where are you living now? I have GOT to get the TA finally finished this winter. I might give Roy and Matt a few $$$$ to get some things done. Just seem to busy now and lost interest a little. Once I get the car back on the road I think the passion will return.

Caddy's running great. I continue to enjoy the car.

Sold the Durango yesterday - although does not close for another week and bought a new ride for Gita. I won't say what it is right now BUT its going to be typically "Rickerby 'ized". No stock lug nut left unturned. :)

Lets get together for a beer. Bring the ladies for a Christmas beverage.

Kind of sad from what it once was here.

Good to see you guys still around

Yeah this place has almost died off it seems. Most guys, myself included, have sold their 4th gens and moved on for now. I'm still playing with cars somewhat...I'm just on different boards.

Shaun, we're living in Cloverdale now. Ren and I bought a townhouse on 192nd and 65th.

I'd like to see that T/A of yours finally prove itself. I know what you mean about losing interest. It took me ove a year to put an engine in my project car.

Cory, Chris, myself and whoever else we can find are trying to get together one night for a drink at Sams. If you'd like to join us, I'll let you know what night we agree on.

Ellis - your car flat out hauls. Good to see your still playing.

Looks like a highschool reunion in this thread. Shaun, check out my old T/A is at Resnicks getting a major makeover. Stroked and Blown 420 LSX....Maybe you should just drop your car off there and just be the checkwriter. ;)

I think this site died off since the LT1 has kind of lost it's throne to the Gen III motor. This site was always mainly LT1 based.

I am here - I didn't see anyone out at Java Hut this year - I can vouch for ChriSS being alive - saw you roll by the Cruise In back in September with Cory.

Still here also, just rarely check this section anymore since no one posts here.
Camaro is dead right now though:( all very quickly the water pump went, then the ignition switch, now i think the opti is the problem. Been on disability for about a year and have ran out of money to fix it right now.

You guys would have laughed at me if you witnessed my last track day. I ran slower than I did before the H/C. Lol! I could have walked the 60' faster... Trap speeds were better though. Looking forward to spring.

Hope you feel normal soon.

I hear you there. my 10.0 was spining past the tree to a 1.49 and banging the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and breaking up rich through the traps. We got those thing worked out on the dyno but still at 10.2 AFR.

So we get it back out to the track. The Wife and mother along with most of the locals come out to see it go nines....and It comes out of the hole like a monster hooking well before the tree about a 1/2 inch off the ground and snaggs the 1-2 two shift perfect! Goes through the 330 a full tenth faster then it ever has and feeling great!.....and then it starts to tag the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift ........And then goes right across the track at over 100MPH!

I did manage to save it and thank fully no one was in the right lane! Luckly the 10.2 second 57 Chevy I was to race did not start.

Come to find out I crossed a slight dip as the car made the 2-3 shift. It started spinning and this is why it tagged the limiter and I did not feel the shift. That is until the left tire hooked and kicked me across the track for the ride of my life.

I must say hitting cones at half track makes them fly along ways :D

here is the video (http://www.rkarasek.com/video/Bremerton%20Oct%2021/Ellis%20Oct%2021%20Run%201.wmv)

So after they put the track back together and I get reamed for tearing stuff up I get one more run. Car came out of the hole even harder then before but it let go again in about the same spot but I was ready for it. This pass netted me a 12.6@69MPH with a 1.45 60ft (http://www.rkarasek.com/video/Bremerton%20Oct%2021/Ellis%20Oct%2021%20Run%202.wmv) ;)

Now I am working on getting it down from the 3620Lbs it crossed the scales at that day and looking at a full cage and getting the 15* heads installed :D

With all of you guys moving onto different cars, anyone got extra F-Body stuff sitting around?

Any performance stuff, I've got headers and an exhaust. Need a CAI and/or computer tune to finish off the cheap mods.

I'm also really really looking for some wheels/tires or a different hood.

Car is a 94' Trans Am (Black)

The rears are completely bald, so stock sized tires for cheap would even do the trick. :D

Whats up everyone. I was supprised myself at how quickly this board dropped.

Shawn!! Your crazy! Thats a killer truck. If your wife doens like it, I'll take it. :D Congrats on the new vehicles though.

We should plan a "reunion" as Ryan put it. It would be great to see everyone again like the old times.

My iroc is pretty much the same... not running very well. lol. Its much better than before but a new problem has surfaced. Hopefully just a sensor. Anyhow, I hope to have it running well enough to go on more cruises this summer. Dont think its quite drag ready considering I still have the Aussie 9 bolt in there, and my T56 needs a rebuild bad.
