Probably not. HHR SS is running the same powertrain as the Solstice GXP/Sky Redline.

It has to be a different 5 speed Chris, the Solstice uses a longitudinal tremec. The HHR SS and Cobalt SS will likely use Asini sourced FWD gear boxes or GM Europe produced units.

Right...I was saying I didn't think a 6sp would happen. Would have to be a 5sp from which ever source.

The kappa's are using an Aisin AR5 and the delta's are using a Getrag F35/5 (supercharged) or Getrag F23/5. Saab's 2.0Ts are using a Getrag F40/6.

Uh, maybe I'm wrong, but the F35 and F40 are made by GM Europe, and are not Getrag. I could be wrong..

While I'm not sure of the supplier, I do know that the transmission in my Cobalt was produced in Sweden.

That would be cool, that thing would be one hell of a sleeper, if it gets the same 260hp output of the Kappa cars.
