Which tranny is best for me?

Ive got a 93 Firebird with a t56 but am wanting to go to an auto. I just don't know which is best to go with. The car should have roughly around 750-800hp (N20) and sees very little road time maybe a spin down the road or around the block, just mainly track time. Ive gutted the car and went with all bmr suspension so its dropped some weight. Just curious to see which tranny you think would be the best one to run in my car with my modifications. Also what all would be done to the tranny if you built it, I know I am going to want a trans brake installed also..

Thanks

It Sounds Like A Th350,or Th400 Would Best Fit Your Needs.

I would consider putting a th400 in it. If the car is not going to be driven on the street much u would be fine. Even if you would as long as you don't have gears like 430's or 456's it would be great on the street. Chose a converter around you cam.

Any ideas on who or what brand would be the best to go with getting it built? Also is there any special torque convertor to run with nitrous applications?
