Now here is where it gets cool...

This is a new one for us, and something that you guys will probably have a lot of fun with. Also through December 31 ONLY, you can give a "Secret Santa" gift of a Premium Membership to any other member here...and the Holiday Special price on 1-year subscriptions (mentioned above) can be used for this!

Here is how it works:
1) Go into the member profile of the person you want to give a gift to by clicking on their user name in any of their posts.

2) Look for the link that says "Give [username] a subscription":

Click it!

3) On the next screen, it should have a note that says "Select a subscription to give to [username]".

4) Select the subscription level you want to give in the pulldown, click the Order button and follow the instructions from there. Quick and easy!

Here's the fun part:
The identity of the donor is not revealed to the recipient. If you give one, you can PM or e-mail them that you did, or you can leave them guessing. If you get one as a gift, you can always post in the Lounge asking for the person who gave you he gift to reveal their identity.

NOTE: If they already have a Premium Membership, it should extend it the length of time selected but they probably won't notice unless they check it in their User CP. A hint may be required.

We will not be running this after December 31. It is all in good fun so give a cool gift to another member here while helping out the site.

I am almost positive it will work that way. Give it a try, and if something doesn't work out let me know and I will fix it.

I went ahead and got a years subscription... Even though I don't really need it since I don't get PM's or anything. $6 isn't a big deal though.

Premium Memberships currently are only set up through PayPal which enables immediate access to Premium Member benefits once the payment is made.
