Therefore, an AIR tube on the cat itself is not needed. The Magnaflow cats seem to have a bit better reputation then the Catco ones. 87lt1rx7 11-25-2006, 11:49 PM well, I purchased a magnaflow cat off ebay. I hollowed mine out and when smog comes around I will get that cat in there. I know when I emptied mine out (it was a complete disaster) I def. got some power back! no more sound of rocks in my exhaust!
