LS1 Combustion Chamber Discussion

I was looking thru Ebay and found some pics of the 5.3L Gen III truck heads vs the LS1 heads, so I thought that this would be a good place to talk about them.

I know that the GEN III heads allow you to run much later timing in the 28 deg range, and I have heard that the 5.3L chamber is one of the better new designs.

What do you guys think?

To me, they both look like the same chamber, just milled down & with larger valves for the LS1
