Ah. You and I are thinking along the same lines. The LSx swap will be the next powertrain for the old bird. Perhaps in three or four more years, unless of course I choose a 2009 Camaro. If that happens, the '84 will probably be stuck with the current old gen1 powertrain.

I'm thinking of doing an intercooled turbo LS7. What are you thinking about doing?

already did a ls1 and ls6 magnacharged. looking to do ls2 but ls1's will work. they are perfect for these cars and very affordable with great gas mileage you can't loose.

ls7 is a beauty but not for me..

Dude, you should know by now I can find most anything late model. Hell today I was drooling over a viper dropout. I am back in Michigan Friday, email me with your wish list. I dont mind looking for parts when I know someone will actually step up and buy what I find for them

Purely an academic question, but what would it cost to pick up a long-block LS2 with all accessories? --No I'm not shopping, just dreaming, which is always the first step before shopping.
