well guys, i have a friend that keeps telling me to get glasspacks on my camaro instead of my spiral flows.....
i like the sound of thrush glasspacks on my friends silverado, but i think it'd sound different on my LT1
anybody have a soundclip of a LT1 w/ glasspacks....or experience w/ them?

I had purple hornies on my old LT1 temporarily while I saved for the true duals. i did not like the sound all that much. Have you heard sweet thunder's chambered mufflers, they sound very good.

Yea, the glasspacks I've heard on 4th Gens didnt turn out well. I'd go with another muffler. Dynomax Bullets seem to work well and are cost effective, as are sprial flows, and GMMG style chambered ones.

anything sounds better than glasspacks on a 4th gen. I would either go bullets or flowmaster 40 w/ electric cutout. jmho.

haha, thanks for the honest opinion, i kind of like the raspiness at idle, but when he revs it kind of gives me a shrill down my back, i think im gonna go with dynomax bullets

yeah, the idle was nice, but my opinion went to the negitive side when he reved it. :yuck:

yup, same here
i just wish i could fit 2 real mufflers under my car instead of having to use bullet-style mufflers pretty much

i like the idle, im not so sure about when he revs it. It does sound like a classic muscle car though
