No they were bought out...
Then they sold off all the machinary and toolings, and assimilated all the parts inventory and turned the place into an suto repair place instaed of a machine shop...The owner was getting old i guess:(

Try Rhino Racing heads, he does a great job and has good prices. They are located at Hydenrich and M-59.

I guess I'll give him a call too. Want to get the stage 2 heads I just bought used cleaned up a bit. Hoping for around 270 or so (I think they flow 260 or so now intake side) and I forget the exhaust off the top of my head. Anyone have anything else I should look to get? I don't wanna spend more than another 400 or so on the heads, since I have to buy the cam, headers, tc, and lt1edit still. I'm getting the crane 10308 springs (good to .600 lift and supposedly dont' require machining to the heads) since I'm going with the xe230/236 with non-SA 7/16" 1.6 rr's.

Hey if you guys dont mind, can you tell him that Nick Dey sent you there and highly recomended him. If he doesnt remember me by name just tell him lt-1 heads with the 202 160 valves he also did an intake port match and full exhaust porting. He seriously is a great guy and does really good work. I wish id of taken a picture of the heads before i bolted them on. The one guy who said he doesnt know why I recomended him is my friend and had his heads done there too, he said that because I was bitching because I thought I had a bad valve seal.

Yeah, i will second that, Al does great work, i work part time at Mach Performance, and he does all of our port work, great work, at a fair price, he's doing my LS1 heads this winter, and he cleaned up my buddies C-5R heads, and is doing his new set for his turbo motor, tell Al that Jason from Mach performance said hi and that you'll be happy with the work, if you want to see his work i'm sure he would show you, or i could show you a set of the head sfrom the shop, i don't think we have any lt-1's around, but we got a set of LS1's, and the set of C-5R race heads he cleaned up for us.
