High Mileage LS1's

I'm looking at several high mileage 01-02 Camaro's, are there any particular items to look for before buying that would be obvious, and that would cost more than 300/600 $ for replacement?

nothing in particular. the window motors dont last too long and just be aware of the possibility of piston slap (not a big deal). otherwise just check it out.

hmmm.. having just had my clutch done, you need you be sure that the clutch feels tight.

What is right? I have a 93 Z28 and the clutch apears to have no fee play is that right?:confused:

right=not slipping

The LS1s are pretty stout motors, there is not much to look for other then the normal things.

Make sure it's not leaking or burning any oil. That should pretty much cover it. :)
