RLBs are a good thing for any lowered car. They solved my wheelhop issue on my stock ride-height car.

brackets are not needed, they will just help with possible wheel hop issues. not everyone experiences bad enough wheel hop to neccesitate brackets. you could easily hold off on getting them.

an adjustable panhard bar is advisable...to help center your axle side to side.

i would look into some of the SLP revalved Bilstiens. they are designed for a .75" drop...which would probably work much better than the standard valved bilsteins.

other than being cheap...never really heard anything good about the KYBs

Why do it half-assed? Really?

First the whole package isn't ideal for drag racing or handling. Springs and shocks have to work as a team. And lowering springs aren't exactly what you want for weight transfer. Some are better than others certainly, but I can't really go into that here, it's complicated.

Bilstein's can't handle those springs correctly. SLP Bilstein's can't either. While they are "valved" for lowering springs, they are for SLP springs which are not as low, nor as stiff as the BMR's.
