My car doesn't like cold weather

Sometimes when my car sits over night and its cold outside it has a hard time starting in the morning. It has never taken me more than one try to start the car up, but it definitely isn't always starting up like it should. My dad said something about checking the battery. Could the battery be the issue or could it also be something more serious?

Yeah, an older battery can definitely make cold startups more difficult.

Most auto parts stores will load check the battery for free. On '99's some original gauge clusters would also sweep the gauges/reset the trip odometer on startup when the battery has low voltage.

It's your battery...The thing is as it gets colder the battery gets weaker and your engine requires more power to start.
