Whats it worth?

Hey,

I have a friend who has a set of shocks and springs off his 97 SS. They are

the level 2 springs with slp bilstein shocks. They have 60,000 miles on them


I have read there are mixed reviews on the slp bilsteins but i know they will

be an improvement over my worn decarbons.

Trying to figure out what there worth...

60K mile shocks aren't worth much IMO.

Those shocks may be just as worn out as your DeCarbons. If it were me, I'd offer him fifty bucks for everything, and thats me being generous.:)

What about the Level 2 slp springs...


I've had a friend or two say that "automotive springs don't wear out". I'm not

an expert but doesn't any spring lose its tension over time with use?
