FWIW...
Not a great article but somewhat interesting...absolutely no numbers have been confirmed yet so I susepct that with over a year to go before we get a real look at a production model and a lot more testing to be done that the HP and other figures are about 99% speculation at this point.

The link to the video is at the bottom of the article or you can just try this:

The "looks" are pretty well set most likely but this is a testing mule and no numbers are anywhere near final yet...they have a LOT of testing yet to do...and a lot of suspension and turbo tuning to do as well.

Is that an M45 it is overtaking at 29.3 seconds into the video? It looks quite a bit wider than the M does!

I've looked at a few times now...can't really tell what that car is that it's overtaking.

The tail lights look like the M but they may be a 5 series. I don't think it is a 3 seies but I could be wrong. Whatever it is the GTR shot past it like a bullet! That car is going to be lots of fun for those who can afford it.

I think thats a 3 series it overtakes... but regardless, I hope the production version shoots flames out of tail pipes! ;)

Im not sure if they are accurate. They're also having an argument between the z06 and gtr. Its kinda fun reading all their comments. You'd see all their biases :D

While the lap times I have seen reported are encouraging, it's a bit early to start quoting lap times and very early to draw any conclusions...there is a lot more tuning and development to do yet. Also, the best lap times are those officially posted by the manufactureres and that won't happen for the GT-R for some time yet.
Fair to say, I think, that we can expect the final product to be an awesome car; one I'm planning to buy (unless the next generation "Z" is as good as the current rumors indicate). :)
