So the Formula I picked up recently has been hit on the passenger side, down the door and onto the rear quarter. I figure I can just replace the entire door easily enough, but the quarter looks to be a PITA. It is creased and cracked and scraped up, but not dented very deeply. The door opens and closes fine, and seals against the T-top as well.
I was reading the diy bodywork thread and wondered if bondo is the way to repair this damage? I imagine replacing the whole quarter panel would involve cutting it off and welding a new one back on, and that's definitely above my skill level.
Has anyone had a rear quarter panel fixed/replaced? How was it done, how much were you charged, etc? Is that panel fiberglas or steel? Any tips for a do it yourself repair?
