yeah, he's supposedly limited to 85 character responses. That means he wouldn't be able to say much in a response.

That's pretty damn weird! It is letting the title limitiation be the limit for the QR. I just tested it and it let's me do a QR that is much longer than that. Someone else give it a try.

Just made a test post with a test account using the QR, and it worked fine.

It only happens if you don't hit the QR button. I just type a reply then hit the 'Post Quick Reply Button'

It says 'title', not message. It's like the title buffer isn't cleared until you hit the QR button.

It's the topic in the reply that's limited to 85 characters. For some reason, they don't appear to be limited for the original poster of a thread, and when you reply, if the original is too long, you'll have to trim it.

Yeah, I just tried again without ever hitting the QR button. No problems. Anything I am missing?

I turned off the thread title quoting. It was very unnecessary anyway, I think.

Sounds good to me.

I might enable it again later...I am working with the VB guys on this.

I also may have to make it so the QR buttons needs to be clicked to do a QR so if someone does a QR with quote, it is not confusing when they click the wrong QR button.
