I ran the QTP 28x11.5-15 tires on my 94. The only thing I had to do was move the rear axle back a bit with adjustable LCA's, because once trap speeds went over 125MPH the tires were growing enough to rub on the quarter panel sheet metal at the front of the wheel openings.

If you plan to run a 28" tire, you better have a fairly high HP (500-600+) application, and very (numerically) high gears. The stock tire is only 25.65" (assuming your car had the Z-rated tires from the factory). Using the 28's will make your 3.42 gears feel like you swapped in a 3.13 gear (if there was such a ratio). The larger diameter of the tires also increases the weight, and moves the weight farther from the axle, absorbing more of your RW HP and leaving less to accelerate your car.

How much HP are you making? That will determine how much tire you need.
