What is the LEGAL limit of Window Tinting in California??? And what is the NAME of the Tint more darker than Limo???

There is NO legal tinting in CA unless it's a clear UV ray blocker... no darkening. And double limo is as dark as it gets.

In Iowa ive gotten pulled over for about every different percent of tint 50, 35, 15, and 5% tints. (legal limit is 70%, see-through), Ive come to the conclusion that no matter what percent of tint you have the cops are going to give you **** about it. So finally i went with 35% on the windshield, 35% sides and 5% back hatch......:D

LLumar is about the best tint you can get, its pretty dark in comparision to other tints of the same percentage. I think beckhart? is right up there with llumar tint

2 1/2% is the darkest that I know of which is what is on my car. Someone can be in it with the passenger door open in the middle of the day and you cant see them. I have to roll them down sometimes at night.

You can double up on tint if you do it correctly to make it really dark. Of course it will be illegal though.

so 25% tint is darks legal here in Texas but of course i do plenty of things that are not legal so mines at 5% light in all the way around i go from my War Buick with no tint to my Trans Am and cant see a thing but ids loves it so so much

i got 5 on the back and 25 on the side.

i dont understand the windshield like how the **** do you see out at night? i saw a 300c with 5 on front sides and back look really badass since the car was black to match but makes no sence to me when you drive at night. thats just me :think:

For the record, the CA law for tint is any darkness on the rear windows as long as you have both side view mirrors, NO tint on the front side windows, and only the top 6" of the windshield is allowed.
