The Turky Rod Run is a huge car show held at Daytona raceway the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after thanksgiving. The cars take up the entire infield. There is also a huge swap meet section and a "Car Corral" with cars for sale. If you have never been there, it is a "must go event". Unfortunately, unless things have changed in the last two years, newer cars are no allowed in, so we can not show our 3rd and 4th gen cars.
Hope that helps

Third gen car mabey if its heavly modded. You Tubs, cage, good paint. My 85 Monte SS has been the last 4 yrs. But its a Pro Streeter. Even when I didnt take the car it was a blast. And if they ever say no to me going in the show Id still cruise A1A.
I'm looking for a steering box, dash parts. I need the plastic snap on cover that goes over the directional signal bar on the steering column, small stuff for the window regulator (springs) and what ever interior parts that will fit,
i'll be there with my 74 firebird. all 3 POCI clubs from florida (miami, sarasota and jax) will be parking together. smoke signals magazine is supposedly going to do a feature article. even though my parents live in daytona, this will be my first time going to the rod run. i'm really looking forward to cruising at the beach.
