If you had 80k....arjainz 10-18-2006, 05:30 AM ....will you still buy the camaro? If not, what will you go for? DrewSG 10-18-2006, 05:40 AM Z06 blue 79 Z/28 10-18-2006, 06:19 AM E55 AMG or C55 AMG used and a camaro:D jaymac332 10-18-2006, 07:23 AM Well, as much as the Camaro is one of my favorite cars since childhood, the Corvette is what made me actually take notice of cars, hence Im a Vette-boy for life (even though the Camaro is a close second:D ) so I have to go for the Z06 Shellhead 10-18-2006, 08:03 AM TWO Camaros  In reality, I'd probably get a loaded Camaro and a Wrangler or H3 for the winter. ChrisFrez 10-18-2006, 08:28 AM You betcha! And His and Hers Camaro :) POWERFREAK 10-18-2006, 08:32 AM I'd love a Z06, but I kind of want a back seat...so I'd buy the top of the line, no holds barred Camaro and spend whatever $$ is leftover in go-fast-goodies. JakeRobb 10-18-2006, 08:33 AM I'd buy a Camaro, a used WRX (for winter!), and use the rest for a down payment on a C6 Z51. Brandon_Lutz 10-18-2006, 08:38 AM I'd buy the Camaro and then put the rest towards a down payment on a house with a nice garage to store said Camaro.:D 1badLS1M6 10-18-2006, 09:48 AM If this $80,000 was specifically for use towards a car, I would buy a Corvette as the toy, and a Cadillac STS as the daily driver. Probably both being navy blue.....not that I've thought this through or anything. 95GRNZ 10-18-2006, 09:54 AM You betcha! And His and Hers Camaro :) Yup! :thumb: And the other one would be a convertible, of course! Z/28lover 10-18-2006, 10:03 AM Id spend 30K on a Z28, another 20k souping it up, and making it bad ass. Then i would take the remaining 30k and buy an SUV for the winter. Ron78Z&01SS 10-18-2006, 10:04 AM C6 Z06 :metal: .........no doubt....no hesitation Casull 10-18-2006, 10:10 AM This is a tough one. I am torn between a Z06 and a standard C6 taken up to Decatur, IN to Lingenfelter and let them have some fun with it. :D Z28Marcus 10-18-2006, 11:21 AM First choice would be a Camaro Z/28 in blue - if the production car stays close to the concept but has a modern interior and doesn't weigh more than 3600 lbs when optioned the way I want it. Otherwise it would be a Z06 for me. Good Ph.D 10-18-2006, 11:31 AM Sts-v HAZ-Matt 10-18-2006, 11:36 AM Buy a Camaro and convert it into a Firebird ;) But more likely Corvette, or build a 4th Gen Firebird. Maybe a Corvette and a GTO. Z28x 10-18-2006, 11:52 AM A loaded ZL1 or Z28 Camaro and a Hummer H3T pickup jeff1586 10-18-2006, 11:56 AM A new berger camaro, or at least take a good chunk out of the price of one. They always looked soo nice:bow: Abidar 10-18-2006, 12:16 PM i would buy my professors off graham 10-18-2006, 12:26 PM A wrecked Camaro, and build a racecar with some of the money followed by a down payment on a tow pig... Bert02SS 10-18-2006, 01:23 PM Already decided: An '07 C6, Monty Red, Ebony interior, polished wheels, 2LT option group, F55 suspension. Plus a used pickup for those Home Depot/Lowes runs. That would leave plenty left over from an $80K wad. 0toinsanein5.4sec 10-18-2006, 03:50 PM ctsv and camaro for me. giggity AdioSS 10-18-2006, 04:02 PM V-series Escalade or Avalanche SS if either ever come out I'd put the rest into my 96 imp SS :D slayerxxx213 10-18-2006, 04:27 PM Z06. km9v 10-18-2006, 04:29 PM I'd pay off my mortgage & finance a Camaro. fastball 10-18-2006, 04:40 PM I'd get a slightly used (or try to work a great deal since they are borderline $85-95k new) Porsche 911 Carrera Turbo. RWD too, not the AWD. Drove a Porsche once, it was a 1991 911 and that was 5 years ago...... I'll go to my grave dying to own one if I can never afford one. Since the guy let me really drive it, I learned how to steer a car with the gas pedal. I never thought oversteer could be such a beautiful thing. Casull 10-18-2006, 04:44 PM I'd pay off my mortgage & finance a Camaro. You can deduct the interest paid on a mortage from your taxes not so on a car. I would pay for the Camaro with said money since the interest on it is not deductible then use the rest to buy down the mortgage. buzz12586 10-18-2006, 08:54 PM You betcha! And His and Hers Camaro :) This man speaketh the truth. 2000GTP 10-18-2006, 08:59 PM I would buy two Camaros, one to store as a collectors item, and one to toy around with. The rest of the money would be used towards Cobalt SS as a daily driver. The real question though is how the hell am I gonna get 80 grand, the most I ever win off the scratch&wins is 10 bucks. STEEL 10-18-2006, 09:06 PM If I had 80k... Im not sure if i would go dodge viper.... or get myself a camaro, a X-treem (chevies awd s10) and then a 67 firebird for my mom.... EllwynX 10-18-2006, 10:37 PM One Camaro, and the rest towards a midsized truck since the Camaro isn't very useful when you own a house... EllwynX 10-18-2006, 10:40 PM If I had 80k... Im not sure if i would go dodge viper.... or get myself a camaro, a X-treem (chevies awd s10) and then a 67 firebird for my mom.... S10 Xtreme's weren't AWD. AWD wasn't even available on them. Or is 'X-treem' NOT a misspelling of Xtreme? I've never heard of an 'X-treem' so I could be mistaken. I did really like my '00 Extended Cab Xtreme when I had it though. Wish I'd kept the damn thing now that I own a house. STEEL 10-19-2006, 12:17 AM S10 Xtreme's weren't AWD. Oh, for real? I was mistaken then. My apologys, my friends must have been very much mistaken. Jacoz35thSS 10-19-2006, 07:56 AM I'd go w/a 94-96 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta and usee the rest towards a down payment on a new Camaro. HTWLSS 10-19-2006, 12:06 PM Oh, for real? I was mistaken then. My apologys, my friends must have been very much mistaken. I think you mean a Syclone. JakeRobb 10-19-2006, 12:55 PM S10: 2wd small pickup truck, 2.4L(?) I4 or 4.3L V6 engine. S10 4x4: same as s10, but 4wd S10 ZR2: same as 4x4 with off-road suspension and tires S10 Extreme: 2wd with 4.3L V6 and lowered street suspension. Syclone: S10 pickup, 4wd, 4.3L V6 turbo ('91-93 only) There were Blazer equivalents to all of the above. The turbo version was called the Typhoon and was not available until '92. So STEEL, which one did you mean? STEEL 10-19-2006, 01:21 PM I was told the S10 Extrere was a AWD pickup and that sounded cool.... Since that was not correct (which explains why i couldnt find one on Autotrader) I want a Syclone | ||
