Camaro Concept in Videogame

The Camaro concept will be featured in the upcoming racing title, "Need For
Speed: Carbon". All I can say is that it looks very good in video game land.

hell yes i played the demo of that game off of xbox live and it was really fun, best thing is you will be able to fully costomize your car, ie: color, wheels,spoilers, skirts, scoops, tire width, and a ton more. they also have the challenger concept in this game i think

I played the demo on Xbox Live and the 1969 Camaro seemed too sluggish to handle well enough to race. Granted the game states it as a straightline performer but when it's either slow to turn or spinning out of control... It doesn't give me that much faith in the game. Maybe it can prove me wrong and give me more incentive to buy the game, than just the concept making an appearance :p

I'll be buying it if its got the Camaro in it. The first Need for speed since Need for speed hot pursuit 2.

OH YES!!!!! This is GREAT!!! I've been enjoying Most Wanted - but there isn't much for muscle car fans - the Rustang is a PIG. I've actually been driving a C6 in that game and it's awesome! Now with the Camaro concept in the sequel......mmmmmmm.......can't wait!!!!

And yeah, the Challenger concept is in the game as well. In fact, it was confirmed first - with no mention of the Camaro concept. If they'd left the Camaro out, I would likely not have bought it.

I am getting it for Christmas for myself, courtisy of the wife. I am going to have it on the Wii. Just over a month away and it will be out.

you guys may want to go try out test drive unlimited, all though their is no camaro concept, they are a good amount of muscle cars, and plenty of sports cars, exotics, and supercars to have fun with

Yep preorder is available on EA's website now. Though I couldn't see where to preorder for the Wii yet. It will be available on the big 3 systems though so I am not worried.

i have the game need for speed carbon. i have not yet seen the camaro concept. i did see the challenger concept, and the new charger. i have beat every race on the game except the very last one... one hell of a prize for beating the game i guess. the spotlight on a need for speed game being a CAMARO sounds awesome. how many fast n furious kids are gonna hate that HAHAHAHA. think im going to have to stay up the rest of the night trying to beat this guy... its the only way i can think of to unlock another new car.

I've been playing the game on the PC and you can race the Camaro concept in Quick Race - although I'm only 34% done with the campaign, so I can't help you there.

i have the game, the camaro concept is one of the special cars from the collectors edition(which you can upgrade to collectors edition on xbox live if you didnt buy it) the concept is amazing in the game, the car sounds awesome, great handling, and best of all, it screams past pretty much any car in the game. I did a test between the camaro and a practically fully modded lamborghini murcielago and the camaro devasted it, the camaro had a 9 second lead by the 3rd checkpoint(and i drove both of them very well). Also it feels like they put 4.10s in the camaro for this game because the shifting time is like in RL with them (driven 2 different camaros with 4.10s)

Also if your into racing games, this is one the funnest ones ive ever played, and dont waste your time driving automatics on this one, the manual set up is amazing with using the right analog to shift up and down.

Wouldn't want to dash anyone's hopes, but I have the game and the Camaro Concept is NOT playable in the single player campaign. It's a Bonus car only, drivable only in quick races. You can not mod it, change it's color, or anything else. It comes in two versions...a red and a black. Those are the only two options. It handles decently and is the fastest accelerating car in the game.

Anyone have Carbon for the Wii yet? I want to know if it is different.

You're not going to either. The concept is only available in the collector's edition, which is only available for Xbox 360 and PC. Sucks to spend 50 bucks on a game and not get what you expect. I say email EA Games and tell them you want all the cars in all the games, not just certain versions. I sent an email and they responded to me. Maybe if enough people say something about it, they won't screw us anymore.

I have the collectors edition...the concept is freakin awsome. I love the car...it looks real sexy in black.

I'm surprised no one has created a mod to allow you to drive the "Bonus" cars in the career mode yet! That would be awesome!
