Does anyone make a full spool that will 'bolt' in the the GM 7.5 rearend. I know there are mini spools, but I think if you could find a full spool, it would toughen up the rear a great deal as it takes away the possibility that the diff breaks. This would be a much much cheaper alternative (full spools run around 150-200) than just buying the 12 bolt. I figure i could spool it, and see how long it will last. If it breaks, then I will worry about buying a 12 bolt. I already have 4.1o gears in my stocker, so I want to try get the most out of it.

I never heard of a spool for the 10-bolt.

no one makes a full spool for a 10 bolt. You can get a mini spool for a 10 bolt with 26 splines if you want to conver to a 26 spline axle... but youl speed more than its worth. It would be easier and more cost effictive to upgrade to a 12 bolt.

they make 28 spline 7.625 mini spools now, we put one in my brothers car, a g-body converted to 28 spline moser axles and a new 28 spline mini spool,
there are a couple companies selling them on e-bay
it has to be used with the 7.625 case, it will not fit into the older 7.5 case and it comes with a new cross pin also, and you need the larger c-clips from an 8.5" or 12 bolt
