Eventhough it was yellow with black stripes, it didn't seem to give me much visual impact . Certainly far less than the first '03 SVT Cobra I ever saw on the street.

no i saw a black and silver one about two weeks ago, by my house. It didn't stand out at all,looked like a GT with a hood. It did sound nice as be passed.

 

I've seen 2, but hey. This is California.

I also took my SC in to Ford to get a readout on an engine code to South City Ford in South San Francisco. It's a very small Ford dealer, and the entire service area is indoors.
I was in the office. talking to the service rep, when I heard this bada** rumble. Turned around & it was a GT500 they just unloaded off the truck. I was the only service customer in, so I got to crawl all over the thing. Pretty impressive. Pretty massive exhaust system. Big pipes throughout. Not quiet like the Cobra was.

I really am starting to like the car, but since it's barely quicker than the Cobra, I really don't see much of a point in it's 500 horses..... unless I wanted to get to that extra 100+ that's hidden inside.

 

I had a red with white stripes driving opposite me on the highway in the high country. When I first noticed the stripes, from far off, I figured it could be a GT500. As it got closer, I was sure.

I thought it looked very nice. How someone could not notice the difference in the front clip (since everyone and their mother complained about the GT front clip............. in comparison to the concept (which looks like the GT500)......... I can't even fathom.

I would definitally take one.

 

Ive seen two or 3 here in MD, the first one I thought at first was the prettiest V6 mustang Ive ever seen because it didnt have the center foglights. I think it was blue and white strips. Then I saw the hood vents and realized what it was. I thought it looked good but that was a few months ago.

 

The neighbor's brother has a white one with blue stripes. Looks good to me but I'm not into "in your face" styling. He took me for a bit of a spirited ride. It puts the power down in a very civilized manner.

 

I've yet to see one myself. I'm surprised they don't stand out to you guys, I guess I will have to see for myself. The red&white one plastered all over every magazine cover sure caught my eye.

 

I saw one a week ago here in Ark. It would have looked so much nicer if it was not yellow with white stripes though. I thought it was not a good color combo. I did like the "shelby" badge above the drivers side brake light. It did sound so awesome though.

I certainly wouldnt turn one down, but I am still holding out for my SS.

 

The GT500 'vert I spotted a month ago stood out pretty well.

The orange paint probably had something to do with it though...

 

The ones I have seen look pretty cool. They don't have the visual impact of a Saleen or anything, but I think they look much better in person than in print.

 

there are no yellow GT500's.Maybe you saw a grabber orange,but I doubt it cause they come with only silver or white stripes.

I dont get it....
I am sure that I saw a YELLOW with white stripes one here on the streets of Little Rock. I was definite that it was a gt500 also. I am stumped on this one. I will have to get a picture of it this next week while I am at work....

It sure looked yellow to me.

 

I saw one without stripes and it looked pretty much exactly like a regular mustang.

 

And what would you expect it to look like?
