Usually, its Fbody guys that are the hooligans and picking races with people on the street. Lately, there has been some sort of role reversal; in two separate incidents over the last week, its been CEO-types driving the big benzes that have been trying to start something with us!
#1 - AMG E55 vs LS1
I was rolling in my friend's car on the highway and we are in the passing lane when we come up to a silver benz. Im not sure if its the supercharged version or the older n/a 5.4 v8. The driver looks at us in the rearview, but he neither moves to the right or speeds up. So my friend moves to the right lane when traffic clears to pass, but all of a sudden, the old guy wants to speed up now? WTF.
We are side by side and the old guy flashes a big s*it eating grin, so my buddy gave him a lets run'em motion. The guy doesnt even acknowledge with a head nod and just mats the gas. We drop down to 4th, and by the time we redline 4th, we've already caught the slight lead he had, and pulled a fender. 5th gear results in a length pull then we back off b/c of traffic. All of a sudden, Mr. Benz driver has lost the smirk on his face and he doesnt want to look over at us anymore. Sore loser :)
My friend's M6 LS1 has mac mids, catback, 3.73's, lid + dyno tuning. Dynoed at 340 rwhp and ran 113 traps n/a and 122 on a tnt 100 shot. No, we were not on the sauce!
