LE1 w/100shot

thinking about running a 100shot when i bolt up the LE1 setup, if I don't decided to just go with the LE2 setup....just curious as to the DO's and Dont's.....im gonna be honest and say Im not a very knowledgeable person when it comes to Nitrous, never really looked into it till now..

When you do a nitrous install, the important thing is not to be cheap and cut corners. Granted the kit itself may only be 4 or 5 hundred dollars, its the extra accessories that drive the total cost to a grand or more. Some stuff I would consider doing would be a fuel pressure safety switch, one step colder copper spark plugs, a window switch, and if going to a wet kit, an upgraded fuel pump. A couple of other things that will add consistency to your setup are a nitrous bottle heater and a purge valve. Another recommendation would be the Mallory 685 ignition box... this has both a built-in window switch and a timing retard function that will pull a specified amount of timing when you are spraying to avoid detonation.
