Seriously though, we've come a long way. I remember this time last year I was very close to giving up hope all together and seriously contemplating going to the Ford camp. Man, am I glad that I didn't! And I've got everyone in here to thank for that! :cz28:

In all truth, IMHO, a modernized(like they did with the 1st>>5th gen) 2nd>>6th gen would look all kinds of badass.

I don't know about that, but I have never been a very big fan of the 2nd gen. I think they should take the current theme for the 5th gen and run with it and see what they come up with for the next generation. Something sleek, really modern looking with some accents from the past. Kind of like how it looks looks now, but much more emphasis on the "modern" part.

Boooo, 2nd-gen hater!!! :mad: Do you realize they were the longest run, and had the highest sales of any generation of F-body?? ;) Granted, they also had some of the UGLIEST F-bodies in the middle of the generation, but the early 2nd-gens are equally as unique and stylish as the 1st-gens were:thumb:. I'm also still a fan of the '80/'81 style :cool:.

i'd love a retro 2nd gen....then Gm can build those photoshoped firebirds....
