I was just curious if you are having to add torco or the likes for daily driving. How much HP/TQ are you putting to the ground? I had my 355 rebuilt with all forged internals, however I decided to keep the stock 10.4:1 when I went with my rebuild because I wanted to stay N/A at the time. I am now at about the highest HP/TQ numbers without some serious modification to make the car still stay NA and somewhat drivable. I am debating on possibly selling my heads/cam in order to purchase a supercharger setup. It seems 500rwhp isnt very hard to get with a supercharger and a mid size cam like the hotcam. My buddy is on the Votech-S strim supercharger, with LT4 Heads, LT4 Intake, and LT4 Cam and he is about 540rwhp. He just upgraded to the next stage because he couldnt get above 9psi. He was on stock compression as well. He now is changing his pistons to lower his compression ratio.

Depends on how much boost you want to run. Most of the sc kits are made to be put on a stock motor.

Alot of people run their kits on stock compression, but they usually run intercoolers and keep the boost level at a very mild amount.

Wow didnt know that you can run on stock compression . What needs to be upgraded to drop on an s trim injec. pump . maf. tb ?? how much boost can you run 3-8 psi on fuel upgrades stock internals ????

if you want to be even safe throw on a set up trickflow heads..it will bring the compression down alot.

agreed.. get your compression around 9.8:1 or so.. do that throw on a meth kit and maybe a FMIC and run 10psi.. you can do better than a hotcam though

its not "that" hard to make a lot of power... Just have to have a couple components to fit the job.
Because of the fact you went with 10.4/1 i would stay with h/c.
I am starting from your point (at least with the compression problem) with a brand new stock motor with 9k on it. Im putting new hardware and pistons in (lower compression, get forged pistons, new rings with right gap, good hardware holding it all together). I think with jsut that and some (read--lots of) boost over 500 rwhp will be not TOO hard. The T76 is hungry to give boost to somethign!
Just have the fuel system to supposrt the power you are going to make.
It is really dependant on your goals. Mine was all out power. Big single turbo will make the best power in any build for the money (talking 500+). But now i kinda wish i woulda done heads/cam and nitrous to get the hotrod lope.
Decided power/time goals. What you have/plan for a tranny will effect what you choose to do. Like with a turbo+m6 is not that desirable (hard to build/keep boost up in comparison to auto). If your going to daily drive it or not.
Lowering your compression somehow with good heads and boost will make GOBS of power. Just have to have the things to support that too (fuel system, tranny, rear end... if not now it will be soon after the newfound power ;) )
