im trying to decide what wheels to get for my Z and its hard to find a good looking wheel for my car besides the stock ones.

what would you guys think about Y2k's painted white?



good? bad? ugly?

what else might look good?

 

Personally, id look into the 10 Spoke SS. I think that wheel looks hot on theese. Of the ones you listed if i HAD to pick, id pick the ZR1 but evreyone has those.

 

I love the way the 17 inch white ZR-1's look on the SS cars. It's such a great looking combo with the white leather and exterior. MMMmmMMMm...sexy.

 

I love the ZR1's and even thought about white Zo6's, but I had to try something a little different.

White y2k's would look cool because they are five spoke just like Zr1's

 

if your set on white go with the y2ks otherwise stick with chrome

It is not worth the money to spend all that money on 17's.

I would recommend 18" ZR1's. Still stock looking, but look so much better than 17's. They are cheap too on Ebay.

Did you buy those 18's in white or have then powdercoated? I've only seen chrome 18's on ebay. I have white 16" ZR1's from a 97 SS Vert for drag wheels on my car.

 

I got mine in White on Ebay. There is a seller that has changed names a few times. Last month, they were selling black ones and chrome ones. They seem to disappear off of Ebay for a bit here and there, but they seem to resurface. I think feedback here has been good on the seller. Just keep an eye out. The powdercoated ones are fairly cheap. Good luck.

 

I have white wheels on my 25th Trans Am and the only bad thing I have to say is they get too dirty with brake dust. I hate cleaning mine all the time but they do look nice when they are clean.
