Catalytic converter tuner

Is There Anyone In The Dfw (tx) Area That Has A Tuner That You Can Eliminate The Os Sensor Code (catalytic Converter). I Am Not Looking For A Full Tuning Session, Just To Eliminate That One Error Code. I Have A 98 Z28.

Not too many people have the software to tune 98's, just fyi. Are you talking about eliminating the rear O2's? If you can't find anyone, then buy O2 sims. Good luck.

my service engine light is on and it won't pass inspection since the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. was wanting a quick fix until i can buy a new one. don't want a ticket.

A ticket for what? As long as the catalytic converter is there, clogged, gutted, etc. it should pass safety inspection and you won't receive a ticket. The rear O2's are the ones that throw the codes for catalytic converter. Get the O2 sims, like I said, if no one can tune it. Then, you can just hollow the cats out and leave them in place. The car will run and sound better.

In the DFW TX area, they just plug into the ALDL for '96 and newer cars and if there is a code stored it will not pass emissions testing, if the current emission tag on the windshield is expired, you can get pulled over and ticketed.
Call Scott at A&S in Keller and ask him if he has a LS1 tuner, I'm certain that he does as he dyno tunes alot of LS1s, his # is 817-431-3150.
