That makes no sense. So because they WON'T use a certain car makers vehicle, they have to pay that auto maker??? :confused:

I’m told that one reason the movie K.I.T.T. will NOT appear as an older-styled Trans Am (as in the series) is because Pontiac is demanding gigantic royalties to do this.

Sorry, I obviously mis-read that part (or more specifically, didn't read it well enough;)). Apparently I conveyed the wrong message, but I still stand behind them using a Pontiac for KITT (as opposed to the Camaro) but since there WON'T be a Firebird (in the foreseeable future) then the GTO is the only option.

Of course I only know as much as the Internet can say;), but there was a lengthy thread over on LS1Tech about a 2009 Firebird, in which that idea was 100% shot down, but apparently (according to a couple guys there, seemingly "in the know") 2009 GTO is a go?? :shrug:

I'm not doubting what you know, but I'm not doubting what "they" know either!? ..... basically, I'm waiting 'til January to decide ;).

KITT's scanner would fit perfectly in the scoop on the front end of the 5th gen Concept :)
