Turbo V8 vs Honda Civic

I was cruising around and got caught at a light with a Civic completely riced out with wing, body kit, fart cannon, lights, and fender stickers. I'm sure he probably had a CAI and some neon purple plug wires too. He revved at me, since he probably heard my straight pipe exhaust.

We went from a stop and only ran up to like 45 mph. I pulled him outta the hole like a monster and held that led till I braked. Launcing in 4WD with boost is pretty nice compared to no traction in the Z28.

Not bad for my 7200lb+ pickup truck with passenger. I love my Turbo V8 :D

Oh yea, plus being cover in mud and cow ****, it probably didnt look to hard to beat. Of course my friend and I are yelling, "Duramax Diesel Bitch, there's are lil somethin' for your ear hole!"

when i saw the thread I though he raced a civic with a turbo lt1/ls1. That would have been sweet.

Man i want a duramax so bad....went a head and bought a 6.0 chevy though, it was alot cheaper. Maybe next year.

I looked around and found this Duramax for a cheaper price than most 1/2 ton's with 5.3's in the same year. In my opinion it was well worth the investment.

It was a glorious moment beating my first ricer in this truck. Just shows that I dont have to stop having fun in the winter time :bow:
