call SLP and give them your VIN# and they can tell you what number your car is. I dont know if they will tell you your number out of silver cars but they can deffently tell you what number your car is for 98

Good question, I was just about to post and ask that too.....
*On my Syclone truck it is just the last 4 digits on the vin :), but there was only 2995 built, hehe ;) (mine is #512/2995 , built for ONE YEAR ONLY ) ---
I just found a site that says the last 5 digits on the 67-92 years is the production number, always starting with a 1
*My 67rs Camaro is # 20,655/ 220,906 (only 64,842 rs's that year) ---
*If the same is for the 4th gen, then my 96'z28 is # 25,362/ 66,827 (14,906 coupe z28's)---
WOW THE 2001 Camaro only had 29,009 built!!! Talk about rare status, 6320 z28's!!! ---
This is a good link to the info for EVERY year, broken down into packages .... I heard its IMPOSSIBLE to track down how many "black z28's were produced in _____ year" , there is no record that precise---
