What happened??1LESSZ28 09-16-2006, 12:20 AM Battery went dead in my car and I used a marine/auto battery charger. I attatched the negative cable to the alternator bracket and connected the red to the battery. Battery is now charged but fuel gauge is pegged? Did I short something or trip a circuit? Please help! 95custom 09-16-2006, 12:25 AM did you fill it with gas? lol. Definatly an electrical problem, I think the fuel sensor is in the back though and goes to the pcm.
