GTP cut 1.73 60' with street tires?Kreinmc 09-11-2006, 08:22 PM Is this even possible? A local guy has a GTP with a pulley, exhaust, tune and intake and ran 13.4@100 with a 1.73 60'. Now he didn't back up the 60' or ET, but does have the slip and the video. Is this achievable with a stock converter and street tires with front wheel drive? I personally think something blew through the beams or he staged with his back tires. Please give me your opinion. 95custom 09-12-2006, 01:56 PM yes. those cars can go 13s with minimal effort.. I see them all the time at the track with small mods running 13s.. that is a pretty good 60ft though for street tires. Definatly possible. It definitely isn't common, but not impossible either.
