Tuning Software

i found some different software available on the internet for tuning and diagnostics, so i have 2 questions, what software is good for a beginner whose gonna TRY and do some tuning, and where is the usb port in an 02 camaro?

There is no USB port in a 02 Camaro. There is an ALDL plug below and slightly to the right of the steering column that you connect to the PCM through. Tuning choices for a 02 Camaro would be HP Tuners, EFI Live/FlashScan, LS1edit, or the Jet branded Tunercat. The first 2 being the best options as they both include both a scanner and tuner.
