So can you tune for a specific cell? I'm using TunerCat. I reinstalled a knock retard tune finally in my new setup to see if i'm getting any knock retard while just crusing around, and i am. My Freescan logs show that almost all the knock retard is happening when I go into cell 10. Theres a little in cell 9 also. Just wondering if I can make some tweeks to my tune so they affect mostly those cells. For the record, I believe i don't have any of the normal issues related to knock as all stuff is new on my setup and exhaust is all sealed up. I'm thinking it still may be false knock, but in the event it is tune related, I was wondering. Thanks.

The cells are designations for certain loads and such the car sees. If you find the load that corresponds with the cell and make your adjustment in that part of the table, then you've made changes to just that cell. Is this what you were looking for?

What table are you refering to when you say make adjustments to the table? Are you talking in the timing table? Thats what i'm assuming. I think i can narrow where the load is happening and whats doing what when a cell is in use.

Well, it goes the same for all of the tables. The cells correspond to rpm and map, so if you make a change at a certain rpm or map, in any table, then you can have influence on that cell. Since you are talking about false knock, then yes, use the main and extended timing tables and adjust accordingly.
